Session A:
Podcasting, Video Editing, Web Development

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

9:30am- 11:00am

 Share your passion through technology...the options are endless!  Focusing on what you care about most, learn how to create podcasts and/or videos and share what your care about most.  Podcasts and videos are shared through your own personal website.

Each student receives a free website address.  

Session B:

Programming & Coding


Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

11:00am - 12:00pm

Learn to code and release your creativity shine! We know you have something to share...something to say... through code, you will be open to creative ways to share your creations - and even tell your story through programming.

Students will learn to use Scratch, Alice Animation and Snap!  

What to Know:

  • Program is open to students entering 8th and 9th grade (must be 13 years old at time of program).

  • Students without a working computer may request a "loaner laptop" to use during the program. 

  • Students will work with college mentors who will provide additional support to students.  

  • Students can sign up for Session A OR Session B...or BOTH!  Students who choose to attend BOTH sessions will be eligible to receive a free refurbished laptop at the completion of the program. (Restrictions apply.)

  • All students eligible to receive weekly prizes - giftcards, technology gadgets and more!  We'll even be giving away programmable robots!

  • Students who complete BOTH sessions can submit completed projects and be eligible to receive a free refurbished laptop!
